Fiat Yamaha's Valentino Rossi took victory at the Czech Grand-Prix when race leader Marlboro Ducati's Casey Stoner crashed out on lap seven. The reigning world champion was trying to up his pace as he was already a second up on Rossi when he lost the front end and crashed out. Valentino Rossi went on to win by over fifteen seconds ahead of Alice Team Ducati's Toni Elias with Loris Capirossi taking his first podium finish of the year in third for the Rizla Suzuki Team. Britain's James Toseland who started from sixteenth on the grid eventually finished in thirteenth ahead of his team-mate Colin Edwards.

MOTO-GP : ROSSI HAPPY WITH BRNO TEST

Fresh of his fifth victory this season, which took him fifty points clear of second place rider Marlboro Ducati's Casey Stoner. The Fiat Yamaha rider was back on track on day one of the two dat test at Brno in the Czech Republic where he finished his opening day second to Casey Stoner, with a best lap time of 1'57.332 seconds after 28 laps. Day two saw the Italian set a time of 1'56.613 seconds on qualifying tyres which was well inside the fastest lap set on sunday.

WSBK : BIAGGI WANTS BAYLISS'S RIDE AT DUCATI

Current Sterilgarda Go-Eleven Ducati rider Max Biaggi said he would love to replace Troy Bayliss at the Factory Xerox Ducati Team when Troy retires at the end of the season. The former four times 250cc world champion has had no official contact with the team yet, but it is said that team boss Davide Tardozzi has Biaggi on his wish list alongside Moto-Gp's Chris Vermeulen and BSB Airwaves Ducati rider Shane Shakey Byrne. With only four rounds remaining to the end of the season alot of teams are now thinking about their rider line-up for 2009.
