Brokes who aims for a triple victory took his first win this afternoon ahead of his team-mate Ryuichi Kiyonari with the Worx Cresent Suzuki of Tommy Hill in third. The race was run today after the second race at the previous round at Knockhill in Scotland was cancelled due to heavy rain.

04.07.10. Round six, race two, Knockhill, Scotland, day three. The second race of the day at Knockhill was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Just as the riders set out on their warm-up lap heavy rain started to fall resulting in MSS Colchester Kawasaki rider Simon Andrews losing control of his machine resulting in a multi-bike pile-up. A lengthy clean-up operation took place leaving the race officials no option but to call time on today's events.
04.07.10. Round six, race one, Knockhill, Scotland, day three. After a 90 minute delay due to heavy rain the first race of the day was won by veteran Ridersmotorcycles.com Ducati's Michael Rutter who made it his 27th career win in the British Superbike Championship. The race was restarted twice, but Rutter was able to keep his cool in the tricky conditions to take his first win in two years ahead of the HM Plant Honda's of Josh Brookes and Ryuichi Kiyonari. Relentless TAS Suzuki team-mates Michael Laverty and Alastair Seeley would battle for fourth with Laverty eventually getting the better of Seeley on the final lap. Buildbase Kawasaki rider John Laverty would go on to take sixth with Worx Cresent Suzuki's Tommy Hill splitting the MSS Colchester Kawasaki's of Simon Andrews and Gary Mason to take eighth while crowd favourite CW Racing Suzuki's Chris Walker rounded out the top ten.

HM Plant Honda rider Ryuichi Kiyonari clinched his first pole position since his return to BSB from WSBK for round five of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship at Mallory Park in Leicestershire. The former BSB champion clocked an impressive time of 55.630 seconds to take pole ahead of Relentless TAS Suzuki's Michael Laverty and Worx Cresent Suzuki's Tommy Hill with Kiyo's team-mate Josh Brookes in fourth. 06.06.10. Australian racer Andrew Pitt has signed a deal to replace the retired Neil Hodgson at the Motorpoint Yamaha Team with immediate effect. Pitt who started his season racing for the Reitwagon BMW squad in World Superbikes found himself on the side lines after only three rounds as the Austrian team folded. His first race for the team will be the forthcoming round at Mallory Park in Leicestershire on June 27th.

Josh Brookes made it a double for the HM Plant Honda team after a convincing win in a interupted race two at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire for the fourth round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship. Brookes team-mate Ryuichi Kiyonari who won race one had to sit out the second race after developing a techincal problem on the warm-up lap. HM Plant Honda rider Ryuichi Kiyonari survived a late scare in the dying moments in race one to take his first win of the year at Cadewll Park in Lincolnshire for the fourth round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship. Fresh from his second place finish at the NW200 road race last weekend Swan Honda rider Stuart Easton wasted no time in getting to grips with the tight and twisty circuit of Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire to take provisonal pole for round three of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship. Easton was able to set a best time of 1min 28.661 seconds, edging out Ridersmotorcycles.com Ducati's Michael Rutter into second with championship points leader Worx Cresent Suzuki's Tommy Hill in third. Relentless TAS Suzuki's Michael Laverty was just off the front trio's pace was fourth ahead of HM Plant Honda's Ryuichi Kiyonari and Rutter's team-mate Martin Jessopp. Gary Mason was the fastest of the Kawasaki's for the MSS team in seventh, eighth HM Plant Honda's Josh Brookes, ninth Quay Garage Honda's Tommy Bridewell with last weekend's NW200 race winner Relentless TAS Suzuki's Alistair Seeley in tenth.
20.05.10. Crowd favourite Chris Walker will continue to fill in for the injured Simon Andrews at the MSS Colchester Kawasaki team at Cadwell Park BSB round this weekend. Last time out Walker enjoyed an eighth and eleventh placing at Oulton Park aims to go one better this weekend after already spent time getting used to the ZX-R10 machine.
Chris Walker said : "Cadwell Park is one of my favourite tracks as the last time i rode a Kawasaki there was eleven years ago. My goal is to score as many points for Nick Morgan's team as they have worked around the clock to get the bike ready for this weekend."

Worx Cresent Suzuki rider Yukio Kagayama who injured himself at the previous round at Oulton Park in Cheshire has been ruled unfit for the fourth round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire this weekend. After a private examination at a London hospital today Doctors advised Yukio not to race as his T5 Vertebre still needs time to heal although the Japanese rider feels ok. Team manager Jack Valentine will not be looking for a replacement for Yukio leaving Tommy Hill their sole rider this weekend.
03.05.10. Round three, Oulton Park, Cheshire, day three, race two. Relentless TAS Suzuki rider Michael Laverty celebrated his maiden victory in race two at Oulton Park in Cheshire . The Irishman rode a near perfect race in challenging conditions to take the win by nearly six seconds ahead of Ridersmotorcycles.com Ducati's Michael Rutter who took his first podium of the season with the Worx Cresent Suzuki of Tommy Hill in third. HM Plant Honda's Ryuichi Kiyonari who at one point was upto to second eventually tokk fourth ahead of Buildbase Kawasaki's John Laverty and Relentless TAS Suzuki's Alastair Seeley. Tommy Bridewell had his best finish of the season as he crossed the line in seventh, eighth HM was Plant Honda's Josh Brookes, ninth was a delighted Hudson Kennaugh with his best result of the season so far for the MAR Kawasaki squad with Buildbase Kawasaki's Adam Jenkinson in tenth.
